The end of the first week of PYPX

The children have had a great time exploring the transdisciplinary themes and sharing their thoughts and ideas.

Today they focussed on a chosen theme and brainstormed what it mean to them.

In Maths we have been developing our understanding of fractions, decimals and percentages. One activity that everyone really enjoyed was making and using the flap jacks (see below). You will be able to see these in action at the Maths Workshop on Wednesday 2nd March at 9.45.

Have a great weekend.

  1. I thought flapjacks were something sweet to eat from England, made with oats, syrup and butter;they are but the maths flapjacks were much more fun and helped us with our maths even though we couldn't eat them!
