Talking of Maths...

The children delved more into the world of adding fractions today. They played a game called fraction tracks and wrote down the fractions that they had added together. Afterwards with some detective work, collaboration and plenty of discussion they explained what they had done and what they understood. (Please see the Children's quotes section on the left of the blog for a great explanation of how to add fractions).

We will continue with the fraction tracks game this week, extending understanding and knowledge of fractions.
