Filarious Fridays, Toondoo and Bedtime thoughts!

Filarious Fridays by Daniel (with Elise and Carlos as contributors) comes out almost every week. We were inspired by Daniel's use of comic strip to think about presentation of the biographies we are writing. Who knows? We could use graphics in the final copies of our biographies.

David worked out something about square numbers just before he fell asleep last night.

Square numbers start like this: (1)   4  9  16  25  36  49  64  81  100 etc, etc, Each time the difference between the square numbers is that they go up by 2 each time. So the difference between 4 and 9 is 5. The difference between 9 and 16 is 7. The difference between 16 and 25 is 9 and so on.

Who knows why? Post your answers here!!

  3. 121 + 23 = 144
    11s + 24-1
    144 = 12-1
    n2 = (n-1) + (2n-1)
    12
    By the way we did this with the teacher
