Of course we are all: principled, communicators, thinkers, inquirers, knowledgeable, balanced, caring, open-minded, reflective and risk-takers in some way. The activity helped students to make connections between our central idea 'an effective group capitalises on the strengths of its individual members' and themselves as members of the group.
This video shows what Gavin and Max think about the profile 'Thinker'. It is also useful as they demonstrate conceptual understanding that addition, subtraction, division and multiplication are related to each other and can be used to solve problems in a variety of ways.
Dennis and Felix showed us their 'take' on one of the Learner Profiles. Can you guess which one they chose?
This group found that many of the attitudes in the learner profile are connected. Can you guess which learner profile they were role-playing?
This group thought very carefully about how they could represent their understanding. They tell you at the end which Learner Profile they chose. Did you guess correctly?
This group were thinking about the importance of being honest and being principled.
Can you guess what this group were showing as a strength?
We look forward to reading your comments.
