Invention- the process continues!

The class have continued to develop their inventions. A key point of this learning activity is the focus on the process. Today each child ensured that they had documented the process and could provide written, photographic or video evidence of the various stages. This will be particularly helpful to them when they start to write up the procedure report in the coming days.

Planning is an important part of the process.

Accuracy in measurement, as the children have learned in our Volume unit, is extremely important.

Felix is using skills learned in our Volume Unit to ensure his model is accurately built.

Aina and Jiyeon worked together to plan their invention. They brought equipment in from home and talked together about why this is a good invention. (I think I need one in my kitchen!!)
